    Definitely recommend this family owned and operated... the food is amazing and fresh the have a huge selection.... The people are very friendly and attentive... the restaurant is always clean and welcoming great for groups or a couple out on a date night

    I completely understand why if you search for Asian food on Yelp, this is the top restaurant. We were in Santa Cruz for a family reunion. Since I don't get good Asian food in Florida, I was determined to find it here. My husband likes Chinese food and it had great reviews so I figured why not. We came with our two kids (3 and 6) and my dad at around 6 p.m. on a Sunday. Even though it looked pretty empty, there are tons of people getting take out. The food was absolutely delicious. We got a Beef Chow Fun, Chicken and Broccoli, Duck and Salt and Pepper Tofu. I usually find chicken a little more dry at restaurants, but this one was so tender. The beef was also extremely tender. I loved the Salt and Pepper Tofu, it was so crispy and perfectly seasoned. Usually fried food doesn't taste good the next day, but the seasoning made this one still delicious. My husband says I nod when I eat good food and I was a bobblehead here. I'm guessing that our servers are also the owners and they were so sweet. They asked about where we were visiting from. If I lived here this would be our go to spot. There's parking in the back and tons of it. I would highly recommend this place. If we are ever back in Santa Cruz I will make sure we come back.

    Excellent food. Suggested order: Cumin Beef! (In case your don't read rest of the text, Just go there and order "Cumin Beef"). We visit this place frequently -really glad that we have a nice Chinese food place here. Many of their dishes that I tried so far had been great. Service is attentive. Another items that I highly recommend is Chicken Eggplant and Chinese Black Bean Fish. You may have had enough of the usual dishes like: Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef.... You can still get those. But, be a little adventurous, get Cumin Beef and I hope you will become a fan. The ambiance is nostalgic.

    Ordered pick up. Ready when promised. Ordered two veggie entrees and a large hot and sour soup for around $35. Veggie chow fun was good. I forget those wide noodles stick together (everywhere I have ordered) and not my favorite noodle. My fault , the dish was tasty. Large hot and sour soup was delicious. It filled two soup bowls. Sichuan tofu was excellent. Would recommend. The only complaint is when we asked they could send home chop sticks, the lady that worked there seemed to not know wait we were saying so we left without. Looking at pictures online, I don't recall seeing anyone using chop sticks. Not a games changer, fun to use when eating, but a fork works too.
